We find opportunities everywhere — and we aren’t shy about stepping up and making the most of it for our agency, clients, and customers.
2018
That’s exactly what happened when we first partnered with the Adobe Summit team in fall 2017. Instead of just taking over Summit’s social content, we activated our team of content strategists, art directors, and project managers to not only deliver results with a social media campaign, but to also lay the groundwork for something even bigger.
2019
In this year, Adobe’s stakes were higher. The company had acquired both a commerce software provider, Magento, and marketing automation platform, Marketo. These two new communities were welcomed to Summit. And that Summit, formerly known as “The Digital Marketing Conference”, would now be “The Digital Experience Conference”.
Armed with cameras and questions, we hit the Summit floor. There, we interviewed attendees and presenters from all corners of the industry for authentic content to promote the next Summit.
The Stoke team pitched a longer-lead campaign anchored with dynamic attendee videos — a powerhouse social media program with serious legs including retargeting, Summit-themed blog articles, and an expanded paid media program.
“For talent and clients, it’s easy to get lost in those massive agencies and marketing machines. If you’re a real creative or someone with a deep passion for driving amazing campaigns, chances are you aren’t going to affect change at those companies. At Stoke, talent and client voices aren’t just heard — they’re magnified, accelerated, and brought to the mainstage.”
2020
On the heels of our 2019 success, we found ourselves in an incredibly unique position as we headed into year three. That position?
ALWAYS ON.
Instead of marketing to one event, Summit promotions would never stop. Under Stoke’s leadership, there was no shortage of content, from the minute Summit closed until the minute it started up again. There was no pre-registration pause and no hurry-up-and-register vibe. Going forward, Adobe Summit would feel like a year-round experience, culminating in five incredible days of learning, networking, and hands-on innovating.
COVID-19 drove countless events to pack up and cancel altogether. Nevertheless, Adobe decided to move ahead with a new Summit format, and we saw this as a big opportunity.
We were committed to helping our client disrupt the event landscape.
Within 48 hours, we had a game plan to announce that this is a NEW SUMMIT for a NEW WORLD ORDER, and you can’t afford to miss it.
We hit the ground running and worked around the clock to get fans, friends, and followers excited for what was coming NEXT. More than 400,000 people from 195 countries participated in Summit 2020 — 17X the attendees from the 2019 live event. And when it came to our social media mandate — to make Summit a year-round conversation — we conquered.
“Stoke doesn’t just deliver. We reimagine, re-envision, and reset the bar. Then, we identify new opportunities to do it all over again, with our clients and partners at the center of it.”
Stoke’s world-class talent — strategists, designers, copywriters, digital marketers, project managers, and data analysts — comes from some of the most recognized agencies, media companies, and brands. Our passionate, creative doers drive their big ideas forward to best serve clients without getting lost in the big-agency shuffle.
