Role will focus on understanding and meeting evolving client needs.
PROVO, Utah, May 14, 2020 — The Stoke Group announced the hiring of Ruby Tugade as senior sales director to support the agency’s growing client roster.
“After an intensive search, Stoke is delighted to add Ruby Tugade to our talented team of creative professionals,” says David Acheson, Stoke managing director. “Her experience, coupled with her natural ability to build relationships, exposes Stoke to a breadth of clients who are serious about their need for quality services offered by Stoke with its trifecta of design, content, and marketing analytics.”
As a full-service digital marketing and creative content agency, Stoke leads B2B technology clients to marketing success.
Ruby is the latest addition to a growing core team of experienced marketers. With a background in feature film and video storytelling and experience working with agencies as a sales professional and client alike, she has a keen sensibility and empathy for what clients look for and will be a strong advocate for their evolving needs.
Laurie Lohner, Stoke’s managing partner, explains, “Stoke provides world-class solutions to our clients. As a worldwide agency, we literally scour the globe to ensure we are providing creative, solution-oriented, best-in-class experiences. Ruby is a natural continuation of Stoke’s dedication to excellence.”
Of her decision to join Stoke, Ruby says, “I took my time looking for the right agency to join. Stoke stood out for its hard working, intelligent, and creative team — and perhaps more importantly to me, for its kind and ambitious culture. That rare combination really resonated with me. I think it’s what will make for enduring and trusting partnerships with our clients, too.”
Ruby is based in the heart of Silicon Valley. She earned a BA in English and economics from Vassar College and an MFA from the Yale School of Drama, graduating first in her class from the producing program. Most recently at Indigo Slate agency, she has also worked with Tom Luddy, founder of the Telluride Film Festival, and Francis Ford Coppola, founder of American Zoetrope, as well as at industry-disrupting B2B start-ups including Ustream/IBM Cloud Video, and HTC Vive.
“I’ve definitely had a varied career, and there is a common denominator: Every experience had ambitious leaders and visionaries at every level, and all had storytelling at the heart of their work. The same is true at Stoke,” Ruby says.
